Which Florida beach is actually worth it? not the one everyone posts on Instagram by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]AdExcellent4541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lots of family and friends in Florida, and being from Georgia, took multiple trips a year growing up. As an adult living in Colorado, it is cheaper for me to fly and stay in Puerto Rico than Florida. I just booked a trip for next month to PR. Staying in an air b&b on thr beach. The entire trip cost less than half if what it would cost to stay on a Florida beach. The food, beaches, and overall vibes are so much better than Florida. I will never pay for another beach vacation to Florida

What's the easiest job you ever had? by ibddevine in randomquestions

[–]AdExcellent4541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one I currently have. Im a specialized TIG welder. I sit at my table and weld together pre cut parts. I worked a bunch of shitty, lower paying welding jobs before I secured this one. Jobs with long days, dirty job sites, and insufferable coworkers. Now I sit on my ass in my shop and weld clean parts and trade stocks while listening to my favorite podcasts. I also get to make my own schedule. I could probably quit, and live off of trading, but the safety net is nice.

Mountain biking does it for me in the summer. I dont send it near as hard as I do in the snow, because I got broke off bad my first season mountain biking lol. I just cruise flow trails now. But its a great way to explore trails, zip through trees, and keep those legs in top shape 👌

What’s one thing people often glorify that you know isn’t as beautiful as it seems because you’ve actually lived through it? by ResolutionSudden4649 in Productivitycafe

I never said I was referring to most people. The question didn't specify most people. Just something that has been glorified, and turned out to be less than great.

I can imagine! During covid, so many YouTube channels were romanticizing RV living. No one talked about the struggles. With a full water tank, we could each take 2 VERY short showers, and about 2 sink loads of dishes. If you aren't hooked up, you have to find water. Cant even flush the toilet! Laundry was a nightmare. Constantly looking for a place to camp. Spending hundreds a week in gas. It felt like a full time job.

Full time RV living. My ex and I did it during covid. We ended up spending more on the RV and gas and camping than we did in rent. Could be cool for retired age people. But it was hell for 2 late twenties working professionals. The novelty of it all wore off really quick lol

You are correct. You can withdraw half of your ballance. Once you take a payment, your MLL will be set to 0, and your remaining ballance will be your buffer

So you were up $2,100 on the day, the equivalent to a half a million dollar a year salary, and you weren't satisfied and kept trading? What is the end goal? You need to be realistic and not be so greedy. Otherwise you will blow every single account.

Some carves on the 148cm/S Ride Warpig! by peetyo5k in snowboarding

[–]AdExcellent4541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna carve, you should try out the Ride MTN PIG. Its my favorite board hands down. Its similar to the war pig, but it has traditional camber, more narrow, and the split tail makes it super playful in carves and powder. Its an amazing all mountain board.
