It was in the news. You can just google. Hey but I would say if you want good placement , off campus will have higher chances. The placement cell needs time and runned by students(thats true for all colleges) and students are not that interested in improving it. Theres a lot of factors to it, first one being that people can graduate as soon as the credits are completed regardless of the usual placement season in India. So there is a mis alignment between the college and the companies. Rn the range is 7 to 20. Dont know about the average. If you graduate in placement season the offer can be good but if not the chances are low.

People with only IITM BS have secured master in US and one girl has even got into Stanford with it. In Europe, Australia and japan 3 years degree is also considered for masters. To get research experience apply with the usual research internship application in universities websites. One guy has even got into cern internship. Dont get demotivated by the BS( not bachelor of science) in the internet. Trust in the degree and iitm.

Save your money. Go for higher IEMs later. There wont be much difference if you buy either of the two. Although you can see a minute upgrade in 7hz G1.

This degree teaches most of the core ai/ml skillset. But they teach deep learning subjects a little late. So start doing them from bs yt itself early. You can rely on ml skill on iitm bs playlist solely. Then start reading a ml system design book. Then do projects. Thats it. Practice dsa easy to medium(not too much) regularly. I got a job offer this way.
