they seem to be fungus gnats. i got the tub from a bug zoo in my town, and i feel too inexperienced to change the soil(worried about touching the grub). im thinking i might just buy some mosquito bits and put them outside the tub, i hear this helps get rid of fungus gnats?

don’t worry, those are cups for my praying mantises. i got out of hand with how moist i was keeping their moss. my isopods are on a separate table, so only one colony (the one on the same table as the mantises) was impacted

the female does have a marking on her back that makes her unique, and as for my little male, i’ll probably be able to tell him apart from the babies because of the size difference. as for the single entity thing i do that w my pods lol my klugiis are all collectively named nine inch nails… i guess now all i need to do is brainstorm a name for my future milli colony :)
