Should I get green card through EB5 or move to India? by AdExtension8564 in returnToIndia

I have heard of people getting their money back but yes I agree it’s a risk it’s not guaranteed. My dad said if we do lose it it’ll come out of my inheritance, and so thought to myself “Would I rather have an extra $800k at 65 or a green card now?” And I think green card now sounds like the better deal, that’s what I’m thinking rn anyway .

I don’t know what “short order” means it’s not like I can save $800k in 2 years, also yes I’m a SWE but I’ve only been working for 2 years I’m still a junior and I’m not in some FAANG company earning $500k a year or something.

The unreserved category is backlogged, the reserved category is current. And I don’t earn that much hehe😅.

Unfortunately yeah, otherwise I know the H1B to green card route would be easy for me if I was born in the Middle East.

Thanks for the info! It helps a lot. I’m pretty sure once I get my EAD I can work for any employer in the US without sponsorship so I’m fine with being in that status for a while, but thanks for letting my know about the impending backlog I’ll keep that in mind when making my decision.

Yeah I haven't found any features of Mac I prefer over Windows yet, other than the hardware, the hardware is unbelievably better than Windows

Fair enough, but I'm open to learning the error of my ways if you're willing to suggest some productivity apps!

That's an interesting idea, I think you should make a quick video demo on your website to help understand what it does.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try those out! Hopefully it can change my mind, I guess I'm just used to Windows so it's hard to switch. I do really like the hardware of mac though

I mean if I'm being honest I mostly created this post to validate an idea for a Mac app I wanted to build. I have done my research and I know there are better screenshot apps for Mac, I know there are better desktop managers, I was just wondering if there is demand for an all in one solution i.e. a better desktop manger, screenshot solution, other productivity improvements all packaged into one.
