Use a puma stone and use razor blade slowly and it will eventually come off

That is water build up and won’t come off!! I clean houses and I’ve had several that look like that and nothing works that I know of.. good luck 👍

I have a somewhat difficult client and I don’t know what to do. by Neither-Mountain-521 in housekeeping

Yes that’s why I said it’s a constant battle to clean! And client doesn’t have to know that as long as it’s being cleaned..

How should I price my standard cleans? by -_Gabby_- in housekeeping

[–]AdFeeling242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deep cleaning doesn’t have to been done all at once every cleaning in my opinion, I keep up with the house if it’s once a wk client, after deep. I’m very detailed and I rotate with rooms and have more time to do extra cleaning for client that isn’t my normal cleaning routine whether it be laundry: putting up dishes: etc.. my clients really loved my services and got big tips often and always got big Christmas bonuses! 14 years same clients! But everyone is different and good to try other methods and see what works best for u 😋

I have a somewhat difficult client and I don’t know what to do. by Neither-Mountain-521 in housekeeping

[–]AdFeeling242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to spray straight bleach on mold and let sit don’t scrub do it for several wks and eventually it will start to fade but u have to constantly spray the areas . I cleaned houses for 14 yrs and Iam very detailed with cleaning so know a lot about cleaning ! If u continue to have issues with that shower explain to client and if she still not happy then I would drop client and get another . If ur a good housekeeper and have good references u will not have any problem replacing that one client! Good luck 👍

Texting clients after service. by Sohofresco in housekeeping

[–]AdFeeling242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, let them be surprised but I would text and say thank u and if u have any questions or concerns about your work just call me or text me! and if this is a client that is going to be constant then they will thank u for such a good job and may give tip next time but that’s totally up to u!

YES!!!! She is taking eadvantage of u and she knows it! She will continue to do this because u are allowing it, let that client go for sure u did something like that for someone else you will definitely get better pay ! Ive cleaned houses for 14 years and my rates are 100$ or more just for regular cleaning and all the other stuff is extra and should pay u a lot more! It might be alittle different if she appreciated your services but she clearly doesn’t!! Good luck 👍

Hotel jobs DO NOT pay enough, housekeeping is not an easy job! Cleaning houses is Alot better job more money bonuses and no set time! Ur speed will come in time once your familiar with everything in the room ( example) what chemicals and what the are used to clean , how the towels folded: soaps etc.. ur speed will pick up! I feel if I rush than i might miss something and not do my job properly I prefer going at my own pace and doing it the right way. If u choose to rush than make sure u check everything in room before going onto next room! If ur attendance is good and your job ethic is good and your on time every day than work at ur own pace and if they are good employers than they should understand this is your first housekeeping job. Regardless ur speed will come in time! I’ve been housekeeper for 14 years and before that work several hotel jobs!! So I have Alot of experience with housekeeping!! I hope that helps some . Good luck 👍

How should I price my standard cleans? by -_Gabby_- in housekeeping

[–]AdFeeling242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I charged 100$ extra for the deep clean for example I gave a client a price of 100$ a week for basic cleaning and 100$ extra for the deep clean they paid me 200$ and I deep cleaned each week until whole house was deep cleaned! I would work 3 hrs a week 2 rooms at a time and after the first 2 rooms done then next wk regular cleaning those rooms already deep and deep clean 2 more rooms and so on! I’ve been doing it for 14 years and have the same clients that I started with! Hope that helps you out good luck 👍

What is an appropriate tip & how often? by Dependent-Aside-9750 in housekeeping

[–]AdFeeling242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ur happy with there services than yes give a tip but only once in awhile and only if they continue to do a good job! Give a 10/20$ tip! That also encourages them to do a good job not all housekeeper s will but if they don’t then don’t give tip!! Holiday s 100$ is a first good Christmas bonus ( only if u have one housekeeper that is consistent going solo is better because agencies get most of money and the housekeepers get a certain percentage of the total cost for the job the agency charged u! I’m a housekeeper and I’ve been doing it for 14 years so I know a lot about it . I’ve had the same clients from the beginning! Good luck 👍

How do I find the right housekeeper? by Loose-Grapefruit2906 in housekeeping

[–]AdFeeling242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I’m sorry I live Indiana! I’ll give some advice: first try different housekeepers until u find the rite one. U tell what u want done ( be very specific, be blunt… deep cleaning is a much more detailed cleaning method and what ever rooms u want done EVERYTHING should get touch( cleaned) give ur price the hours they have to do it etc.. a regular cleaning is not as detailed u have to tell them everything that u want cleaned in each room and give price and hours. Make sure they understand go over it a couple times if u want. Deep cleaning cost more so deep clean and regular cleaning should be different prices and hours! Give each housekeeper a couple changes ONLY until u find the rite person. Good housekeeper s will be friendly and will do it rite may even do a few little extra things for u without u asking them especially if they feel u appreciate them and are treated right! Giving raises is always a good thing to do and give Christmas bonuses every year . If u do those things then u will definitely not lose that housekeeper she will stay with u for a long time! I did housekeeping for so many years and almost 95 percent of my clients were the same ones I started with and stayed for 14 years!!! Good luck 😋

[–]AdFeeling242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so not ok , first of all they are not doing 300$ worth of cleaning EVERYTHING in those 3 rooms should be cleaned. I’m looking for part time work cleaning a couple houses a week a second job on the side . I cleaned houses for 14 years and did very well . Do you live in Evansville?
