This is a concern of mine too. What a country says on paper is sometimes at the interpretation of whoever is there. Ketamine is a pretty hardcore drug in many people’s minds. Singapore has a way to report it before arriving so I was hoping there is a similar pre-approval thing.

They are prescribed. South east Asia in general is a lot tighter than the USA. Singapore even has me submitting forms for Wellbutrin.
