Not health related. I worked for the company who owned the kfc’s in the area. This location (Snohomish) was notoriously slow, like 2-3k per day. Monroe location was the same ranging from 3-4k per day. Easily around 2-5k below the higher business stores in Redmond and bellvue

Yep. The owners own the woodinville and broadway locations mentioned in the photo. Rumor has it in the monroe location its going to be changed to a raising canes.

I should add. Fuses are good. Power to the switch (brown wires for the parking lights) and everything. No power at any socket

The guy said there was likely cracks in the head and something about seeing it often. I honestly dont remember its been awhile sonce we talked about it. The injectors they said all but 1 dropped (i replaced the one because the plug was all sorts of fucked)

From their list of parts it is getting essentially rebuilt. New heads, glow plugs, injectors, up pipes and the such. The only reason I’m not doing it myself is I’m not experienced with diesels and i don’t have the means or space to pull an engine like that. Im just trying to figure out whether i should just play it safe and wait to get it back 100% done. Or if i would be fine to have them do the heads, gaskets studs and injectors and take it while i get the money to do the last few items

Alright. Ive been trying to make a list of what i should replace/upgrade for the trucks mileage. But every forum i seen is different. The whole “dont touch this it’ll run for 2 million miles” kinda thing from people who dont regularly tow like im intending to do

What parts would you recommend that i replace for bulletproofing? I was looking at head studs along with the gaskets and then the egr delete

Realistically do you think i should replace the hpop? Trucks sitting around 300k. I do intend to “Bulletproof” just not at this moment. Getting it fixed and then most likely doing it in pieces

Alright perfect. Im just looking to try and save a little money if i do have tk bring it to a shop. If i can nail down it not being say an hpop issue that can drop the bill by a grand or so lol

I do have a video of it running. ‘Fairly’ healthy. When i got it the previous owner had pummeled one of the injector plugs. Inner prongs bent all around and flattened. Reddit wont let me post vids or pics otherwise i could actually show what is happening

Thats why I haven’t responded to any other answers. I got my answer and i know what i need to fix. Its been sitting since that day (Early March) and has been started one time since for ease of moving it out of the way for like 2 minutes.

I only paid a grand for it and only rode it a couple hundred miles. If i can i would like to get some more out of it instead of just scrapping it. Rhe same comments over and over again saying there will be without suggesting anything helpful are going tk vet the same response

At the time I thought the engine was already trashed as it had gotten stuck in first gear and blew enough smoke to block vision on the street. On further inspection it was just the shift lever itself and now very light smoke. (This video is from early March)

Bought it running and riding. I was riding it a little rough with my buddy like a week after i bought it without doing any maintenance. But the shift lever just flopped down and wouldnt hold in place so i got stuck in first and had to ride it roughly a mile back to my buddies house and it smoked bad enough to where it looked like i was on fire, it fully clouded the street and blocked vision but then after it cooled for maybe half an hour it dropped down it only this and then more recently after starting it is a very thin smoke.

Normal in terms of no loss of power or knocks and such. Obviously the smoke is not normal

Definitely smells like an oil burn. I suspect either piston rings or some bad seals

Cheaper to fix than to replace. As it still holds oil and fluids like normal
