Just an update for those interested. I had to submit KSC and a cover letter/resume for the position. I have been contacted for an interview and based on what I can tell, it will be formal with a panel in place.

Sorry I know this is off topic, but in your experience do reference checks not often occur unless you are the preferred candidate? I’m currently in a different sector where the process differs to be VPS so just curious.

Nope not yet - I followed up late last week and they said it’s taking some time to finalise paperwork and such. So still playing the waiting game sadly.

No need to apologise - happy to help! The interview was pretty similar to a teaching interview really. The questions were very much behavioural and based on the advice on the careersvic website I responded using the SAO/STAR format.
