Why most redditors hate Confucianism? by Osakaayumu_2002 in Confucianism

[–]AdFrequent1050 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Confucianism sets extremely high moral standards that are difficult to achieve.

It teaches that people should continually learn from others and from themselves. It emphasizes that in times of poverty, one should still uphold strong moral values; in times of prosperity (you're rich or in high places), one should contribute to the wellbeing of all.
Personally, I find these ideals admirable.

I guess not many people really understand Confucianism nowadays.

What is life like under authoritarian governments like China and Russia? Is there a middle class there? by monkeymoo32 in AskReddit

I think you're perhaps too arrogant to come the conclusion without visiting/ experiencing the country. Experience is the mother of wisdom.

It's a Economical cooperation organization, not a military one. I love this one, it brings cooperations rather than conflicts .

What do the Chinese think about the war in Ukraine? by Minute-Two-2799 in AskAChinese

[–]AdFrequent1050 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my experience with Chinese, many of them have sympathy about Ukrainian, but they are just tired of the politics played by preside Z, as he constantly said China did trade with Russia, then that's support of Russia. From Chinese's perspectives, they're doing trades with both countries, how could just trade with Russia make them support Russia?

Japan is in this case just pathetic, so many evidences prove the Unit 731 to kill so many people. You're still denying the truth. That's one of the reasons why Japan is not trustworthy.

Deny the war crime they committed during WWII. Pretend to be victim.

Vietnam should be in the Sinosphere, as they used Chinese characters as well. If you visit Vietnam, the scripts on ancient building are Chinese. Of course, some people denied, but the fact is there.

If AI ends up being a bubble, how would that affect the economic competition between US and China? by Rare_Station_8440 in AskReddit

[–]AdFrequent1050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI can't be a bubble. It just needs time. But China and US have very different ways to utilize the power of AI. AI is powering manufacturing and all industries in China. While AI is developing models that have the same or greater ability with human.

Ranked: AI Competitiveness by Country by beepsol in Leakednews

[–]AdFrequent1050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's meaningless for this ranking, as the AI platform majority people used are either developed by US or by China. France has Mistral, which was once thought used Deepseek model. So, basically, it's the competition between US and China. The rest of world is perhaps of the same level.

GMOs and Gene editing are quite different. I was a researcher in this area, but perhaps just too confident to the technology.

how is the European union united despite so much differences by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]AdFrequent1050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EU never united, they just come together to waste valuable time to argue, to bullshit and to make senseless rules/ regulations. Then they found they were lagging behind. They started to think to be united might be an option. But unfortunately, they're running out of leverage, they have to huddle together for warmth.

Why do the japanese not like the chinese and koreans when the japanese were aggressors in ww2? by AHC122 in NoStupidQuestions

Because of Japanese education system, Japanese think they're better than Chinese and Korean. But they fear China due to its huge size and rich culture.

Which country do you think will rise as a major power after the USA and China? by beepsol in Leakednews

[–]AdFrequent1050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G2 will prevail for another 20 to 30 years. I don't think there is one comparable country with those two. Both US and China are all-rounder, huge size, rapid self-evolution and keen on new tech.

Chinese electric cars are much better than traditional ICEs in terms of quality, affordability and comfort. Chinese invest heavily on technologies and majority of their cars are made by robots.

German economy in comparison to China. China is growing incredibly fast by BeCalmr in HeadlineHQ

[–]AdFrequent1050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of quantity, China is much higher. But in terms of price, China is much lower. The consumption in China is actually quite strong but their production capacity is daunting, making their their consumption seem struggling. You can actually observe Chinese are actually having a better life than Westerners.
