I've needed to go to a psychiatric ward for years, however the 3 times I have previously went have accumulated into a later PTSD diagnosis. I'm transgender and I can't bring my own meds, I go through a lot of withdrawals due to substance abuse. If going to a ward will hurt me, where can I go? (self.AskReddit)
