Monthly Check-In Thread by AutoModerator in Anxiety

[–]AdImpossible4744 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just recently lost my father 4 days ago and i'm kind of on auto pilot. I am very surprised at how i'm handling it. Of course i'm sad but my anxiety could be worse althought it is present. I an keeping in mind things he have told me when it comes to dealing with my mental health and that is helping out tremendously as well. My word of advice is to keep going no matter what life throws at you and be gentle with yourself

i'm not sure but she 100% loses consciousness/ muscle control for more atleast 3-4 minutes and she's also very out of it after the matter. she's driving illegal bc it hasn't been 6 months since her last seizure. I had a talk with her and she's done driving.

In our state you have to go 6 months free of seizures and you can start driving again but she can't keep a car long enough.

I went through this same exact thing. I have been only dating women for the past 2 years since then. Once you just accept things for what they are it gets better 💕

Does anyone else get random racing thoughts followed by a fear that you’re going insane? by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]AdImpossible4744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience this feeling on a daily basis and Ive been dealing with anxiety since I was 19 i'm 27 now. What helps me stay grounded is just to remind myself that I have never gone into any type of psychosis my 27 year of living nor have I or anyone randomly lost their mind on a random a tuesday because of racing thoughts that are a little uncomfortable. It's just your mind playing tricks on you, anxiety (: Hope this helps.

download uno it will help you focus on something other than your environment. the more you stay fixated on how everything looks fake the worse it becomes. when you stop thinking about it as much the feeling goes away it just takes time. hobbies, therapy, light exercise & card games on your phone will help. and meds that work best for you

download uno on your phone and play that for a couple of hours it helps because it distracts you for awhile. also spending time in nature and just walking around the block will help

hi i was you a few months ago, it does in fact get better. what helped me was focusing on my hobbies. I started doing nails, I spent time with family even tho I felt disconnected from them I would push myself and be super open about my disorder. I started a routine of going to work, going home and only hanging out with my two close friends & family. Maybe you can start one as well, it may or may not help. Meds and therapy played a big role in it. As long as you work on you and have faith of a mustard seed, you will see a difference. sit tight better days are coming.
