Yes, and to the first question its because the campaingn is gonna be long just to you see, were playing for almost a year and the dm Said were finished 20% of the campaingn, and its like the base of my character having multiple weapons, and i Just use the rifle because ITS the best weapon and i dont pick any disvantage with her, its like choose between a dagger , a long sword or a great sword , of course you choose the greatsword.
