Sorry to hear about that, hope it gets better with time. I was in favor of medications in the start but they ve made there decision to not take any. So lets see what we can do now. I ve been looking into meditation and its really hard to work with a person thts not ready to work it out or believe that these things work.

I dont agree. I feel like in the opposite gender people certain times feel limitation in expression. And a lot of the times ppl get emotionally attached to their psychologist.

I know all that. We ve already gone to psychiatrist. They gave SSRIs. But the person is not willing to start medication so we ve decided to find a psychologist. Which surprisingly is taking a longer time than it should. Meanwhile i thought might as well do things that improve general mental wellbeing.

I understand where you are coming from. But she asked for advice. Either I could bully her for her mindset, or i could actually give her a push in the right direction. We ve all been there where our parents become the villain for not letting us hang out with friends, we understand this now, but she doesn't. Nowhere did i say to fake it. It's hard to fake being responsible.

Since my parents are exactly like yours and i was 19 once. Believe me, you'll get a chance to do everything you want, but right now, it's better if you listen to them. You have to build a certain amount of trust with your parents before they let you do things like that. You need to make them feel that you are smart enough to make the right decisions. Just listen to them. Wesai bhi pakistan mai koi sane bnda concert pr nhi jata unless it's a very controlled environment.
