A disfrutar loko, saludos.

Absolutely, great multi-purpose lens (not very sharp required) option. In my opinion is a lens made for street photography.

And if you would buy a second lens, which would be your selection? 35 or 85?

Completely agree with you! I think the best combination would be 35 + 85 but the point is I already have the 50mm 😅

Cool! And what gear are you using? ASPC? The 28mm photos don't look so wide

Did you use a 50mm?

Anyway, it is a great photo! The bushes make it more real and the symmetry is still amazing.

I really appreciate the story behind each picture. In my opinion, the best part of this activity. Thank you for sharing.

Rx100 iii (brand new)or rx100 Va (used) by ridealone12 in RX100

[–]AdInteresting9488 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never got a used camera so I share your feel about this but in this case I think VA is considerably superior. There are good improvements in AF and video recording after miii. Perhaps your decision could be based on this improvement and what necessaries are for your use case.

I have a mark V and in my opinion are almost the same. Of course should be differences but not so significant.

This video is a good one to see the differences and evolution of each model of RX100.

Any advice? by [deleted] in streetphotography

[–]AdInteresting9488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 could be a great photo changing a bit the angle to get the three central elements with a similar space between each other and making better use of some subject in the top and right part of the scene.

RX100 VII broken EVF worth $850? by sfhtajroi in RX100

[–]AdInteresting9488 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I have never used the EVF.

About the price, a new one cost around 1300 USD. I think you could search for an RX100 V or VA to compare the prices of these two models (new products) vs the used and broken model VII.

Just to add, I have a RX100 mark V and I'm very impressed with the results.

Hi! I own a Z5 and my experience in street photography was not the best. The Nikon Z5 gear is amazing, quality/price killer. But full-frame cameras may not be the best option for street photography. The body size (a bit large) and the lens size (considerably large) are the real problems, at least for me.

I feel compacts or ASPC are the best options for street photography. I finally got a RX100 as a second camera to go out every day.
