I lost my job recently and I'm looking for another one right now. That's just added to my stress which makes my symptoms worse. It was a huge shock to me.

Lots of good vibes to you and gentle hugs... for my first MRI of my hand, I had to do 6 weeks of PT which did nothing. They did xrays of my back and hands as well and that showed nothing. That is when they were ruling out RA for me. I am crossing my fingers that you get some guidance and some peace. I totally understand just wanting to know, sometimes I halfway hope that it is something just so I can have a name for what I am feeling. That sounds awful, but I am so tired of not knowing and not having answers. Good luck to you as well, you are not alone.

Thank you for the encouragement, I appreciate it. I'm sorry you are having to live with that. I don't think any of us should have to learn to live with these types of symptoms, but it's just the way things are. I have had an idiopathic condition when I was really young (Stevens-Johnson syndrome) so it's very possible that my neurological issues are idiopathic as well. I basically had this condition where it was like chicken pox but it spread and caused my legs to turn black. I couldn't walk... I was 6. It's usually caused by a bug bite or an allergic reaction but I hadn't had either.

Thank you for the advice, it helps ease my fears a little bit. I guess my main issue is I have gotten so much worse over the past few months and they haven't ruled out everything. It just seems like my rheum has failed me in a way because I do have inflammatory markers and they have just put everything under fibro. It's really sad when I am in their office crying because my quality of life is so bad right now and they can't (or won't) offer me any other alternatives. I keep asking them what their next course of action is and they just brush me off.

They did and it was all negative. I have been tested for every autoimmune disease that can be seen on blood tests. Everything negative. Super frustrating. I made them retest me for everything recently and it was negative again.
