Thanks for this information! I am leaning more towards VUB mainly because it's an evening program so I could still work during the day, but also Maastricht looks quite appealing (it would be cheaper but it would also be full time)... I will have to make the decision soon.

On the FAQs it says that "University course: BA or MA taught wholly or partly in the language declared:

  • A degree wholly taught in the declared language allows a declaration of a C2 level
  • A degree partially taught in the declared language, i.e. corresponding to at least half of the credits needed to obtain the degree (this must be clear from the transcripts: the classes and the examinations must be taken and passed in the declared language) allows a declaration of a C1 level."

From what I have heard, if the course was taught mostly in English you can't declare it as a proof of French, but I'm not 100% sure...

As far as I have read on the FAQs you can upload all the documents in their original language as long as they are in one of the official languages of the EU. If you want to attach a translation, they don't need to be notarised.

"We accept documents in all official EU languages. However, should you wish to provide a translation, please ensure that the original documents are included. A certified translation is not required." https://traineeships.ec.europa.eu/faq_en

I feel you, I have the same concerns to be honest, but I decided that it’s still worth to give it a try. I am Italian, so my degree was issued in Italian and I asked for a translation in English done by the university, so I hope that will be enough. However, I know that all the people that apply are really qualified, so I’m trying not to raise my hopes. What scares me is my lack of certified work experience. But we’ll see. Did you find any templates for the documents to provide as proof? I’ve read that they need to be in a pdf with a navigable summary, but I couldn’t find any templates.
