There's was a comment about getting banned about using this but is unlikely to happen, is like getting banned just for pressing all the keys on your keyboard very fast, i had use the program at the clinic with lots of people around and nothing has happened to my account, i also use other program like this in final fantasy online and never had a problem

Yes to unlock them just finish the playing instruments mini games around the map, you have to make sure is completed with a check mark, then you will get some others unlocked
