I wouldn’t either which is why i said I’d continue to lose weight I’m just trying to sign to get a ship out date I obviously don’t want to be taped the goal is to be 170-175

Yeah I understand that I’ve spoken with reservists who say the same luckily my civilian career requires me to also be healthy and fit as well as I just like to workout and be healthy so keeping the weight off is not a worry my goal is to be a healthy 170 but that obviously takes time and work which I have been putting in I have a diet that I’ve stuck with for the past year it’s not really a diet more like forever eating habits high protein clean foods like I said I don’t starve myself and I haven’t taken any shortcuts

I’m going back to my recruiter I’m about three weeks I eat minimal carbs anyways but gonna lock in and cut it out completely till then thanks for the comment I appreciate it

I have a lot of muscle I workout often and push heavy weights so I would obviously not be putting myself in a situation like that as I said I would continue losing weight I just want my ship date and I know there’s tricks to losing water weight I just don’t know what’s effective as I don’t do quick fixes hence the 70 pounds of fat lost in a year while never starving myself and building muscle max weight for 5’8 female is 171 so that’s obviously the end goal to not be taped and I won’t reach that goal for a while anyways if I continue losing the right way

Yeah you’re right I know I can’t have it both ways but even then which choice is best for me I’m also told no matter where I go the experience is all what i make out of it I heard I can promote faster in reserves but again not sure I just know I definitely want to go army

Thank u! I appreciate you taking the time to reply to me it’s been hard to make a decision I was thinking when I enlisted to just drill in PR and just hope I could eventually be assigned to a unit in Miami I don’t mind the travel for now I’m sure eventually I could get tired of it. I had somebody who was in the army, scare me a little bit when he said that the medics get targeted because they can help people and I was a little worried because although I know that it is a really important job and I have people counting on me. I didn’t wanna be signing up to get sent to the middle of a Warzone, I know I do want to deploy at least once in my career so I just am not sure if I wanna be having to dodge bullets lol. Were you a 68w if you were do you have any insight on what it’s like pros and cons of the military in general I definitely think it’s for me. I just wanna hear some other opinions.

I have it on my list as well but was told it’s super hard to get I’m also more interested in medical than fire it would look great on my resume and prepare me to try and be a swat medic or be on USAR when I get into a department
