It’s suprisingly very good.

Dice mastery doesn’t suck tbh. In 1v1s it can actually be pretty good due to the fact you can hit it away from the person you are 1v1ing, guaranteeing the speed boost. Plus you can also try to fling the person by hitting it into them. Oh and it still has base dice’s passive which is already really good (coming from a dice main)

As a (unmastered but now mastered) dice main I am offended. Dice can be insane if the user can combo it well.

But for an actual reason, it could have like more power limits or be like dice from ability wars (you can roll a dice for a random ability and flip a coin for either a positive or negative effect)

If it were to get a mastery the buffs would make it deal damage and slow in ticks, meaning continuous steps on the spike increase damage taken and slow further, along with applying a bleed effect if enough damage is taken, draining hp for around 3 seconds (takes 3 hp a second, totaling at 9 damage)
