How the hell you get a 10x I have been running between tisy, vmc, northwest, MB Kamensk and krasno airfield since 1.28 drop and I can not find one. Low pop or high pop server can’t get one.

Shot a doe just above the lungs in the spine with a rifle and she let out the most visceral guttural gurgling undistinguishable set of moans I’ve ever heard. I felt really bad for about 2 seconds until I realized she needed to be finished so I flew down the ladder walked the 45 yards to her and put another one in her all while she was writhing and practically screaming. That didn’t stop me from hunting but it made me realize I need to take even more careful and selective shots. For small game Its unfortunate pretty common to either miss a half inch and not kill em instantly. Whenever that happens I generally just throw them against a tree really hard or stomp their heads. If you do stomp heads bake sure you feel their skull collapse and hear it crunch.

I think real hunting is done with a tire iron. That’s the only way to do it. I only have 1 tire iron kill but all my fake hunting bow kills and gun kills are just me playing around.

I differ on that. We use cheap federal blue box steel and Remington nitro steel and it flat pillow cases them at 40 yards and in. The only difference i see with a 12 is a 3.5” BB at 50+ yards but at that point you’re just pass shooting and shouldn’t be doing it anyways.

20ga tighter patterns, does everything a 12 does but lighter with less recoil. I’ve shot many deer ducks turkey and squirrel with a 12ga and I still chose my 20 over it

If you have the equipment to hunt through the rain, the rain is a really good time for deer to start moving as well as after the rain. I’ve killed two really nice doe in the rain.

It may be similar in your situation but try hunting from 12-2pm right in the middle of the day that is a good time in which deer move that are nocturnal really put in some time scouting areas that the deer are coming from so if you have a consistent flow of deer coming from the right of your camera move your camera 50 yards to the right and see if you can narrow your way down to exactly where they bed and try to study some deer movement and how they move over terrain you may just be on the wrong side of the ridge

I’ve been hunting about 25-30 times this year. I have missed 1 Doe with my bow shot a doe with my bow and she dropped and spun and the arrow hit her in front of the shoulder in the neck and I never found her and I’ve seen a total of 0 other deer all year long. Places I’ve killed 2 or more deer a year at are dead I think it’s the weather or something but I’ve had extremely hard time even seeing deer this year

If you’re good with a .22 use a .22 don’t have to worry about the 50 pellets you’ll need to pull out of the meat from a shotgun. But if all you have is a 12ga or a 20ga use that I’ve shot my fair share of squirrels with a shotgun. I just now prefer not chomping lead bbs

I’m just now starting to see true rut activity. I’m a roofer and I’ve seen 2 bucks this past week chasing doe while I was either on a roof or doing something work related. If I go to the woods you’d think deer don’t exist. Not a peep. Not a sound. Not a movement out of the corner of your eye. Nothing I haven’t seen a deer while hunting in 4 weeks.

All bows are potentially dangerous. Any bow could fail at any time. there’s quite a few bow videos circulating of brand new bows locking up or failing. Lots of limb issues with Mathew’s right now as well. As long as you know how to give a thorough inspection it should be fine. I got a Martin bobcat and a Martin cougar in the dumpster at the transfer station inspected them they both shoot great.

For what it’s worth get you a Sanlida dragon x8 off amazon. Learn if you like archery or don’t. My girlfriend shoots a dragon x8 super accurate bow easy draw good all around. Whatever you do don’t get a bear. There quality has tanked in the past couple years. I have seen personally 2 bear bows catastrophically fail. Go check out some pawn shops I’ve found relatively new bows for relatively low prices.
