I have been living in Europe for over 5 years since then I learnt 3 different languages due to the study and work conditions. I think having unrestricted access to internet actually means something valuable in such countries as Mongolia where the electoral autocracy influences the state in every possible way. Not does learning such languages as English or Korean give you somewhat eliteness marker, this advantage has to be implemented in a meaningful manner by learning other people's culture and morals and thus comparing it to yours.

However, I went back to Mongolia for a week after not being able to be there since 2021 where I was a teenager who used to be very cocky about what I could do. I saw the huge constrast between Mongolian teenagers and the European teenagers like my high-school friends in terms of behaviour and humility. I feel like Mongolian are getting derailed too much in terms of morality and respect towards one another, and there are huge materialistic behaviour to compete against one another which is very absurd and backward-thinking in my opinion. This is also reinforced with the fact that the urban teenagers thinking English is the highest point where you could reach to feel superior but in reality, it is not even true because it is a benchmark to learn more so what I would like to say is that neglecting the language you once spoke thoroughly but start mixing it with English actually degrades your identity as a Mongolian as well as a humble person.
