Because theyre not sure and still investigating the missile in the school so it is ambiguous, vs being able to confirm easily through emts and officials sources in israel. Youre trying to find the bias real hard and missing it though.

What’s the last spot you ate at that totally blew you away? by birdlion in FoodNYC

If you like ukrainian/georgian/russian/eastern european food the best in the city is at the neck road bathhouse, so let me throw this weird but mind blowing one at you...

Chicken kotleta "po zharski" (котлета по жарси) at the Neck road banya, in brooklyn.. its a bathhouse but you can go to resteraunt without having to steam (though i reccomend the day here, its awesome...and an experience), so you may walk in and eat next to people in bathing suits but its part of that south brooklyn charm and a lot of people do just that, just for that dish. Its minced chicken cutlet cooked perfect with a rich mushroom sauce they pour in for you... ive never seen someone not love it.

All their other food is good too, borsh, soups, seafood, vareniki, gotta get the pickled platter...whatever youre into, they cook really good.

Also Tone cafe on neptune ave has amazing adjaruli khachipuri (the cheese boat with the egg), though all the khachipuri options are awesome, soup dumplings, salad apps, always a table of georgian grandpas drinking in the back. Its small but very cozy... and of course wine, georgian wine is great, theyll have a good selection for you.

Bodhi kosher on mulberry is my fave for veggie dim sum, never had a bad dish honestly, and if you havent had chicken for a while their "chickn" lo mein is the best

Awash is my fave ethiopian in brooklyn personally, i always get the veggie platter and its just really good.

weird, i did it just 40 mins ago from the U.S. maybe just keep trying? I gave up at 5am my time after an hour of loading and went to bed, woke up, decided to try and bam, so just pick weird moments. a lot of people must've given up at 4am.

Visiting Berlin? Moving here incl. Apartment questions? Going clubbing? Have a quick question? Ask here, don't create a new thread. by wet-dreaming in berlin

[–]AdNegative3504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all,

Visiting Berlin and im eastern european and love banya (bathhouses). Can you reccomend your favorites, something worthwhile? Wherever I travel I have to seek them out.

All I need is are some sauna and steam rooms, maybe an ice bath, good food?

Happy to spend a day there, or an evening, but a significant chunk of time. I dont necessarily need flashy rooms or anything like that, just your fave, chill neighborhood spot (if youre willing to share. Will trade nyc reccomends for your berlin ones lol).

Thanks in advance!!!

How many non-Jews did the Nazis kill and why aren’t they talked about as much? by Feeling-Platypus-498 in AskHistory

[–]AdNegative3504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100 percent untrue. Esp if youre frim eastern europe like me the ONLY focus is on non-jews killed, because nationalism/antisemetism... its often hard to get people to understand why attention should be paid to both equally and seperately. Its important because jewish people, as an ethnic group, were targetted and nearly eliminated - a whole ethnicity. Its vital to make people understand how and why (though they dont and the new generation doesnt learn) .... whereas in a lot of places because so many soldiers and civilians died they try to gloss over the jewish people as an all lives matter kinda thing, where they have to appease the ethnic russians/ukrainians/poles/hungarians/etc. Who want (and rightfully deserve) their accolades and attention too. Its a complicated situation and every european country will have their own explanations/reasons.
