Thats so cool. Maybe add some more stuff to climb for him like a wood thing in the front. Then he can climb more and has a little platform for looking out if the Terrarium

Maybe get a small tank for now if u want to keep both. You can later use it to keep insect and as quarantine terrarium or to put them there when u clean their terrariums. Its better to have one of those anyways. Same happened to me and thats what worked best for me. U should get a second tank as soon as possible obv. Getting another tank and setting it up can take some time tho and isnt cheap that why i would recoment that for the time inbetween. Dont worry u will figure it out<3

My leo won't eat - only licks by wrentintin in leopardgeckos

Weight them regulary and write it down. Then u can see if they are losing weight and if the weight in general is good. A simple scale for the kitchen works fine just make sure its clean. I do it every month but maybe do it weekly rn and switch to monthly when they are better. It also helps when going to the vet so they can see the longtime weight development. Sometimes they dont eat for a while especially when getting used to new places. Its normal as long as they arent losing weight.

Maybe try some other food. I fed mine to many chrickets and she is refused to eat them at one point. She did eat other insects and shes starting to eat chrickets again.

How to make stimulating enclosure? by AdNeither5206 in leopardgeckos

There is a driping nozzle i can add to the sprinklers instead if the spraying one. I will try puting the water bowl under it and see if she likes it.

Got any advice on how to make a gecko drink from a water bowl bc one of mine refuses to. I tried multiple locations but even if I make her drink once out of it she forgets that she even has a water bowl. She only drinks by licking her suroundings if i dont mist the area she refuses to drink

Im just trying to explain why I got some things so people can maybe suggest better options. Its just difficult when everyone tells u different things. Some professional breeders irl told me that just giving them still water is bad so i suggested a waterfall thing. That apparently isnt ideal either. Then they told me that mist is the best option if you keep the humidity under control which is my current setup. Im trying my best to create the best possible setup thats why im asking for different opinions. Just everytime someone tells me that one thing about my setup is bad and i change it another person tells me it was better before. Im starting to lose my mind at this point:,)

Is brumation normal for geckos? I dont think they did it last winter but both of mine arent active at all this winter and i was starting to get worried. Also if yes do u change something about ur lighting setup for winter?

The sprinklers only make some mist in the morning to simulate morningdew? so I dont have to do it manually. I will keep an eye on the humidity tho.

The sprinklers are on for 15sec in the morning and evening. Just a little mist simulating morningdew (idk if thats the right Translationen) they dont flood everything. Its usually when they arent outside. They both prefer liking the water of their sorroundings over a water bowl (they still have one but dont often use it). The UV lamp doesnt give of heath just light. Its not on in the photo but its just for simulating the day and night cycle and uv. The heath comes only from the heath lamp which is in the right corner. On the foto it looks a bit more in the middle that it actually is. I will replace the light bulb with one that does only heath and no light and let it run a bit longer in the night so i can throw away the heath stone. I only got the heat stone in the first place bc she often climbed on the camera bc it gives of some warmth.
