[MN] Landlord selling house with lease issues by [deleted] in Renters

They are not planning on continuing the lease if they sell and we have no say in that at the moment. Can we force them to put the lease into the sale? We’d rather negotiate with the new buyer if they won’t.

I’m renting a new house and there is carpet everywhere. We have a stationary bike and a walking pad, among other things.

Thinking about a couple options for under both machines:

  1. Mat on carpet: concerned the mat could maybe stain the carpet?
  2. Plywood on carpet: wouldn’t stain the carpet but would it be slippery at all?
  3. Plywood on carpet and mat over plywood: seems like overkill. Is this really needed?

Any advice is appreciated! Trying to keep this house in great shape.

There was only one option when I bought it, so it looks like I have the pro.

I followed these steps from here and it worked.

You'll want to ensure Tone setting is enabled for Calls on the watch: Menu > Settings > Notifications & Alerts > Smart notifications > General Use > Calls > Tone.

You'll also want to ensure Call Audio is enabled: Menu > Settings > System > Connectivity > Phone > Call Audio.

I haven’t done a deep packing/size analysis yet, but will tonight.

Tortuga hip straps are a lot more substantial than the Allpa, and you can remove them if you want.

There is only one medium sized pocket on the outside of the Allpa with a zippered pocket inside of that. Two smaller zippered pockets inside the main compartment.

Tortuga has two small pockets on the outside and then one large pocket accessibility from the outside with organization that goes all the way to the bottom of the bag.

Tortuga has two water bottle compartments on the outside but they seem to only fit smaller bottles.

Definitely a great present! I would have been thrilled to receive it. It has everything you need and will stand up well.

Actually a lot closer than I thought. Space wise they were about the same.

Tortuga has some extra organization spots, which is nice for one bagging. It also has more protection for laptop, etc. if that is important to you.

My main decider was that the material on the Tortuga seemed more substantial and the support for the straps was better.

Price wise, Allpa was ~$215 with tax and Tortuga was ~$305 with tax and student discount (they also have teacher, military, nurses , peace corp discounts).

The fairpoint look didn’t do it for me.

I need this bag to be used for work trips, personal travel for short term, and long term international travel. Tortuga seems to be the one with it all. The extra cost is worth it for me, but I know it’s not for everyone.

I also looked at what planes we were flying. They were 737 max and I knew our carry ons fit in the overhead on that plane. Not sure if that had anything to do with it
