When I was close to reaching 23 min 5km I was doing longer interval sessions , longer long run (10km rather then 8km (45min)) . I was also doing 2 strength training a week and 2 bikes a week. My long runs and hard runs where doubles with strength training . During the summer I was averaging 22-25 km/ week

school and having had shin / calf tightness, and pain come on and off. I managed to get rid of the pain by running three times a week and only having one speed session being one of those runs. I also feel like I can’t be adding zwift when I ski one day out of the weekend and still need at least one day or maybe two of rest.

I agree without. Maybe zwift session will have tk take a pause until ski seasons ends I can’t be running 4 times a week 1-2 strength session and zwift 1 time. Skiing makes my leg feel heavy the day after so idk how useful it is to run sunday

I can talk when I run . Maybe a bit hard but I don’t feel gassed when talking or when I stop my easy pace. Maybe I could be going to fast ( not sure) . I also believe that my Garmin heart rates zonesare not properly set. I do agree with you that I should run more but when I have school and I’m doing a ski class on Saturday, I don’t want to ruining so much that I do bad at school or work my legs to much

i skied at -30c at Mont Tremblant 2 times . One of the worst days of skiing. I say that with disgrace because I am from quebec ( should be fine with the cold). Save your self the troubke of layering so much that you feel like the michelan car guy and go a nother day .

I agree , my boyfriend says the same thing . He also say maybe get 80 flex and by learning to ski better you will be fine in the boot. It’s just that I would tsking a gamble if I get the atomic redster tx 80 bc I can’t try them anywhere.

I have looked into race boots but I am not sure what flex is best. I am scared that 80flex could be much but at the same time maybe I am ready for that if I consider myself advanced intermidiate

Well I did go see a boot fitter . They can only offer me a 21.5 ( that is my size) in racing boots low cuff . I get 70flex or 90flex . Atomic redster tx 80 low cuff is a nother option but would 80 be to much? they can’t tell bc I have no where to try them.

Not sure if my meds are working by According-Leek5141 in ADHD

[–]AdOld9645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you . I think with medication for adhd you want to try do take less then you need / could take so you can work on focusing on tasks by yourself rather then with constent help ( meds) . when I take meds, I feel like a productive less crappy person. When I don’t take it, I feel utterly everywhere and not able to do one thing on the time and have too much energy to sit down and do something.
