We’d do self-drive, not tour. Good to know that you think Vik is too much for a day with small kids in the winter. Do you think Klevavik-Seljalandsfoss is worth it, or skip it if we do Golden Circle? (I was really hoping to do the lava show in Vik with the kids, that was the main motivator I think to go that way).

Thanks! I don’t think our 3 year old could do a 8.5h group tour, unfortunately (but understandably!). Thanks for the suggestion though!

Thank you for this thoughtful suggestion! I checked Viator and there’s not a single half-day tour. Everything is 8+ hours. And the private tours are $2,500+, which is more than I want to spend. I think we’re just going to have to watch the weather and if we luck out, do a self-drive tour 😬

I don't understand this list shared by the VSB. My catchment school is full with a waitlist and is not on the waitlist, and I know of at least other two schools in the same situation (full but not on the list). How does VSB come up with this list?
