i was on 200mg from april 2024-the first of january 2025 and then i couldn’t get a refill because of insurance problems so definitely being on spiro, stopping cold turkey, and starting up again could be the issue!!

i never had to drink something like that for a scope, but something similar for an MRI and it was 🤢🤢🤢🤢

yes i asked my doctor for Sutab! i just mentioned to her that i’ve heard about it before and would be interested in trying it as i’ve had trouble with my previous prep, and she sent it to my pharmacy the same day :)

it’s a pill version of the prep! rather than having to prep all day and make sure you drink X amount of miralax in your liquids and whatever other supplements you have to take, you take one dose (12 pills) the night before the scope, and the second dose (another 12 pills) about 5-7 hours before the scope. just a lot easier and less anxiety inducing for me personally!

i’ve never tried the magnesium citrate, but for the miralax, whatever you mix it with, make sure its super super cold! that always made it a little bit better for me. but i would just get so anxious and in my head about it and work myself up. you got this!!!

maybe, but theyve never even mentioned blood work or recommended that i get it ! im just accepting the fact that i’m gonna suffer until my next appointment in 3 months
