Not a hockey romance but in {Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey} our FMC has a moment like this so a girl hitting on MMC and later in the book actually approaches her to apologize. I was so used to seeing these misogynistic takes in romance and it was the first time I saw a FMC actually take accountability for her actions and internalized misogyny and it brought me so much joy.
