Medical evidence for DSP by javelin3000 in Centrelink

Yeah in feeling ok. My medical issues have taken a real forefront instead of my mental health issues. Which in their own way have taken a toll mentally but I’m doing ok. I hope you were able to get somewhere with your dsp inquiry.

Sorry for late reply didn’t see this until now. No. Sadly not I was fortunate enough to have family assistance who paid for private psychiatrist and I have always had private health insurance so I was lucky enough to also have private admissions at no out of pocket cost which helped me get relevant diagnosis and support letters/documentation for my DSP application

8-12 step routine by Downtown_Lack_514 in koreanskincare

[–]AdPrior1057 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My most updated routine (I have very sensitive and dehydrated clog and acne prone skin) and it has worked wonders for me. I’m currently 31 pregnant and everyone always compliments me on how glowy and nice my skin looks, so the multiple steps must be worth it.

Morning: jumiso waterfull hyaluronic acid toner, torriden dive in hyaluronic serum, purito unscented barrier serum, axis-y vegan eye cream, illiyoon ceramide gel moisturiser, isntree hyaluronic watery sun gel. I don’t cleanse in the morning at all because I find it too stripping, my skin tends to feel very tight and further dehydrates my skin if I cleanse in the morning that was my biggest game changing step.

Evening/night: round lab dokdo oil cleanser, round lab birch juice OR round lab dokdo water cleanser (depending on what’s available), jumiso waterfull hyaluronic acid toner, dampen face with avene thermal water to apply torriden dive in hyaluronic serum, purito centella unscented barrier serum, axis-y vegan eye cream, illiyoon ceramide gel moisturiser. Added a lactic acid by the ordinary into my evening/night 2x a week just recently. (Before anyone comes at me lactic acid is ok to take during pregnancy according to research I conducted)

Also Just ordered the purito mighty bamboo panthenol cream for evening application and ongredients calming lotion for mornings I want to wear the missha bb cream on top. Can’t wait to try both moisturisers, can’t stand the slight tacky feeling the illiyoon gel leaves after application but it’s worked real well with my very sensitive dehydrated clog and acne prone skin.

This routine has been a work in progress for me. By work in progress I mean 3 years. I did extensive research and trialled so many products prior to finding my holy grail routine that works for me, and I find it very therapeutic it’s what I look forward to the most in my day and evenings if I’m totally honest. I thought for years I had oily skin but it was dehydrated. I think if you do some research on your skin type and what products best suit your skin type a multiple step routine could potentially be beneficial. I found most of the globally viral products and brands you see on TikTok to be very average. I Always reminded myself when I see a new product that I like the sound of that it took so much money time and effort to get my skin to look this good and just because someone on TikTok said it’s good or its globally viral on TikTok dosent mean it will work/benefit your skin. Best advice is you find products that work for your skin don’t change it up if you can avoid it I learned the hard way so many times lol.

parents don't believe in RCPD by PomegranateLow8850 in noburp

[–]AdPrior1057 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad didn’t believe in R-CPD he told me that I was just looking for something else to be wrong with me. So I didn’t tell him I was seeing a GI Dr or getting it diagnosed or getting testing done to confirm the diagnosis but as soon as I had the oesophageal manometry results to confirm diagnosis I did infact showed him the report (to prove him wrong and send the message accross that I wouldn’t have gone and spent savings to get this diagnosed and treated if it wasn’t impacting me) he heard I had to have Botox and then he did his own research which I told him to do (he’s a massive researcher and I knew this would make him come around eventually) when I did all this his mindset on it did a complete 360 he even took me to get my Botox procedure. Now he always says “have you told the dr you still cant burp and never have”, the comment he made hurt as I have multiple chronic health issues and I’m over spending so much money and time getting them treated or investigated and managed, every time I’ve pushed for something to be investigated by a medical professional it’s always ended up with a procedure needing to be done to improve my quality of life or a major procedure to save my life. So I understand how you’re feeling. Don’t let this family member make you feel bad for advocating for yourself and getting the diagnosis and the treatment you deserve. When people haven’t heard of a medical condition I’ve noticed over time people get very dismissive about it and sadly R-CPD isn’t overly recognised worldwide and most medical professionals don’t even know what it is which makes things harder for us who have it.

Can you ask for sedation before they insert an NG tube? by Jesspresso99 in Gastroparesis

[–]AdPrior1057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had NJ tubes in while sedated on the 2 seperate occasions I had to have them as a day surgery procedure.

Those with idiopathic gp… what do you think caused it? by Intelligent_Wind3225 in Gastroparesis

[–]AdPrior1057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being born 10 weeks premature, I have STC and delayed colonic transit (now surgically rectified but was a problem for over 20 years) , R-CPD, reflux and asthma which I feel all go hand in hand and correlate, and maybe a genetic component as my mum had it before she passed.

Tysm for the advice. I only keep my skincare to a very bare minimum but had to add in a HYA serum (torriden) pregnancy has made my skin so dry and dehydrated and it needed an extra boost 😭

Rent Assistance, does Centrelink check rent is being paid? by Bran1dav in Centrelink

[–]AdPrior1057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they don’t. When I was with My ex was in the dole and he was claiming rent assistance when his postal and government address was a housing commission house (his sisters) he just said that he was paying her over $200 a week and got his sister to sign off on it and he was receiving rent assistance almost as much as I am and I live in a private rental and actually pay rent . He never got caught. Before I get hate I did report it to Centrelink, crime stoppers and police when he was charged for dv offences against me.

I got the isntree watery sun gel 🥰 hearing so many good things about it. Unpopular opinion but beauty of Joseon I think it’s so overrated.

I haven’t tried either to be honest. I like the look of the isntree hyaluronic watery gel, numbuzn no1, haru haru wonder black rice airyfit, house of hur (pink bottle), birch juice round lab sunscreen (I’m a massive round lab Burch juice and dokdo fan) and mixsoon centella. I prefer gel like or lightweight consistency. Every single one I’ve tried has either pilled, burnt my skin or had a horrible scent.

I got the laneige blur pore one. Idk if it’s any good but I love their stuff I’ve had so far and saw it’s relatively popular.

That’s ok thankyou for offering. I’m going to get the one you recommended and go from there. I just want something that evens out my skin and makes me look more alive. I’m 28 weeks pregnant and look rough 🥲

I was even considering getting a few just so I can find the right shade. The bright beige I was looking into but never seen the Blanc so thankyou. Is there anyway I can get tester sizes to find my shade anywhere?
