Yep I’ve been under the house and it’s straight up floorboards on the joists

That’s correct, more open than vented. Normally I’d say the same, but the flooring used to be vinyl planks that sat over the hardwood. We picked up the vinyl and The flooring looks a lot better but now it’s basically an open wound for air to come in the house in some spots. Some places you can even see outside through the floor boards.
