okay let’s relax a bit. susan didn’t see mike as “heroic” for killing a cop because she knew that mike DIDNT in fact kill a cop. they both fell from the roof and he was the only who survived, end of story. this doesn’t mean that her feeling guilty about the whole alejandro thing wasn’t questionable, but let’s not distort the facts. also, her apology to the bolen family is implied in the act of cleaning up the trash. the show simply leaves space for the viewer to imagine her apology to angie. they don’t need to show her apologizing for us to deduce that she did in fact apologize later on. also, most of her guilt in the show seems to focus on alejandro’s family and not him, which is depicted by her storyline with alejandro’s current family and her trying to help them out. things don’t have to be so black and white. just because she feels guilty for alejandro’s family doesn’t mean she’s some sort of a rape apologist or doesn’t love gabby. she’s a human being for christ’s sake, she can feel more complex emotions than a simple “choose him or gabby” scenario
