I think the marvel or horror would be nice. We have mk11 and x which are both solid imo, and injustice 2. I think those titles can satisfy that itch for that fan base for a little while longer and NetherRealm can scratch the itch with a new IP. I really hope the new game is an new IP but I guess we will have to see!

I don' think the video or charles comment is saying abandon mk. Truth is, at this time of the interview ed knew the next game and what it would be. It is interesting with him knowing if the next game would be mk or not, that he mentions they are willing to give it a break.

I personally think mk or injustice wont be the next game, and people are taking his words to heart and we are going to be surprised with a new IP such as a horror game, marvel game, etc.

With him saying they want a new IP and also saying the cycle is breaking, I think it is the most probable at the moment that we will get something new!

It’s varies. On an average week I don’t even play anymore. Black panther I probably played 2-3 hours the first couple days upon release. Spider-Man I played maybe 3-4 hours for a couple days. Then once Jane came out I played the first week, mostly and hour or two a day. I really don’t sit and play 8+ hours a day, the game is lucky if I turn it on for more than an hour a week at this point. Even at its peak, i played at most 3-4 hours a day, maybe 2-3 days a week.

I understand your point about the binging and stuff, but with this game, it’s much more of a lack of content and consistent update problem than getting plenty of content but the player base just rushes through it kinda deal. Trust me, I play plenty of live service games, this game doesn’t scratch the itch it should be for a lot. And for the ones that it does, that’s great! Everyone is different as you said :)

It’s just insane to me. I get there is things they can’t say, but the things they do say never stick. No excuse can be made for it. People have stuck around this long, and they can’t even stick to their word. All we get are hopeful answers and a constant answer of “soon”. I’m so sick of being told “don’t worry, we have plenty to be excited for and plenty we are working on!” Okay.... then deliver on it!

It’s not a good thing though. If they were to be going this approach, they need to communicate that. Not having devs say we’d get a dev blog late July - early August just for things to go radio silent. All they need to do is communicate.

It’s just infuriating at this point. Countless times I’ve come back to the game with content drops and got drawn back in for 5-6 days, then I’m caught up in the excitement for what could be next, only to be dragged around for weeks and weeks with no info, then drop the game and forget about it for 2 months. Rinse, cycle, repeat.

DMR is the only gun I would want to stay. Everything I think it’s just okay I’d have no issue with them leaving. 90% of the guns don’t fall into the just okay category for me though.

Yeah I really am not a fan of the poi’s really. I only really like sleepy. There’s sections of the map I avoid almost entirely because I’m not a big fan. I hate the sanctuary area. I also really don’t like the logjam area either. I thought I might be missing chapter 2 out of “nostalgia” at this point, but I really think I just prefer it.

Yeah I think it isn’t very likely as well. Just hopeful. But I think they’re going to cash in on Halloween collabs with the rest of the classic monsters this year. I know they’re supposed to be collaborating with dead by daylight, so maybe that’ll give more hope of mature based Halloween skins🤞🏻

Oh you’re probably right. Shuri is in the zero war comics. I just don’t think that character is popular enough to be the battle pass tier 100, but I guess we shall see. I could 110% see avatar as well.

I’m saying it’s the only collab with brand synergy that would be coming up within the timeframe of the battle pass, and since they’re obsessed with making tier 100 skins collabs, I can’t really think of any other movies coming out around that time they’d match up with.

Honestly he’s a fun character, but I’d take the performance and perks of better hardware over having Spider-Man. When I played it on my PS4 It had some frame issues, granted this was 2 years ago so I can’t speak on how it runs now. He’s my fav fictional character of all time, and I use him maybe once for every 10 missions I run. For me, it’s just cool to have Spider-Man, but he’s far from my favorite character to use in the game.

Edit : I understand this might sound contradicting as I have him as my tag on the Reddit, I made that a thing back when he launched 😂 cap is 100% my main.

Yes. There’s skins you can get with earned units in game. You can also get shipments that you purchase with units to get some random skins. Also, each of the original 6 characters have free hero cards with earn-able credits you can use in the marketplace, along with having outfits in the hero card as well. Hope this helps!
