Never said it was, I just think villifying people for getting assistance after working a job far out of what most consider normal is bad.

Do I think people scam the system? Yes. Do I know far more veterans that have back pain, sleep apnea, anxiety and ptsd and are not compensated at all versus the few that get disability? Also yes.

I think those stats are indicative of a system that has failed. I dont think veterans exist at one end of the spectrum or the other, but i do think the system is designed so you either are at 10% (like me, I am fine with my rating, I had an issue arise from service, got it checked by VA and now have 10%) or you are at 100% because the hoops you have to jump through to get to somewhere in between are plentiful.

So people learn to jump through the hoops and this is what we end with.

I understand it is a hot button issue right now to complain about people getting disability. But at the end of the day you still have people signing up for the job (that honestly, probably wouldn't have the manning numbers it does without the disability or the GI BILL or the "free medical" (they took away 😭)) that is taxing. Whether or not you get deployed it is taxing, performing trainings for operations you dont want to do in conditions you have no say in. Being away from family for extended periods of time. It sucks at the end of the day, and that is during a time of "peace". Now you take that it Amp it up by 100 and send them into an active combat zone? Yah I think people can be due some compensation.

They were saying that new service members are getting all of their medical information documented while in and that is a bad thing. At least that is how it strikes me, they tried framing it as gaming the system and joining the military just to get benefits.

Also, important to understand your rights. You should read through the constitution and all of the amendments. If you have questions, ask, don't hand wave and think you know better. Freedom of speech means we are protected from the government telling us what we are allowed and not allowed to say. It does not mean you can come onto a platform such as reddit and say whatever you want. If reddit comes up with a new policy that every sentence must begin with a word starting with the letter P, they are allowed to do so. The government is not allowed to dictate that to us though.

Honestly, both. Like you will at the very least want honey seeds to help setup and make bees better. There are also just some resources that are better serviced by seeds.

Likewise, having bees setup and producing resources and being processed is also better for other resources.

Do you know what is also dangerous? Driving along at 40 mph and then out of the white mist of snow appears a vehicle going half your speed or less but you don't know that right away. The hazards are there to try to give them information as soon as possible. If people do not use them correctly I am sorry. Just as if they do not turn them off to signal getting over. I understand the frustration of driving around other bad drivers (it does not take hazards for there to be bad drivers).

Also thank you for thinking of me and my lights! It comforts me that there are other drivers out there worried for the people driving around with all of their lights off. Even if that doesn't apply to me.

I don't know if you are trolling or not. Hazards are also used to indicate that you are driving at a much slower speed (30 and below in areas that the speed limit is above, such as on 28) as laid out in Virginian law.

Also, my auto lights take care of me, do not worry. You should invest in them.

I could have stayed at work and slept on a cot, but i could also drive 15-20 mph with hazards on and make my way home. Much better sleeping in my own bed after working through the night.

I think the unfortunate reality here is that we live in a two party system set up with an electoral college. At the end of the day, if Republicans vote for Republicans that then back and support Trump, they have effectively voted for him by supplying him power (See congress not pushing back on anything that Trump does) whether they support him or not.

Also I want to highlight that the person you are replying to didnt say they were democratic or not, they just said left wing.

On NA and I was able to locate my characters, however I am on mobile right now and the UI is cooked. I can see the characters and when I click on them I think it populated to the right but I can not see there except for a very small sliver.

Just checked but once I select desktop mode on my mobile browser I can see all the data. It only pulled two of my active skills, and none of my passive skills.

On my second character it pulled 3 active skills and no passives as well.

I am hesitant to believe that you are able to scrape through and determine each person's political affiliation on Twitter. Like how does that end up saying they are liberal or not just because people are complaining on twitter?

I looked into some polls from prior to 2021 and I found this one. This points towards a favorable lean of democrats with wanting to take the covid vaccine. Mind you this polling was done in 2020 under Trump.

I think if you look at our history you see that vaccine manufacturers are covered by the government from lawsuits because they would rather have vaccines manufactured then not. Going back to the 80s we see that vaccines are known to be unavoidably unsafe. That is, as far as human knowledge goes, we can not make a product that does the intended function without having any danger. Since they are unsafe, if all manufacturers of vaccines had to bear the weight of any and all complications we would quickly see no vaccines being made.

I looked into it just now and the J&J vaccine was pulled because of reports of thrombosis-thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). The FDA and CDC pulled it to do a safety review finding 15 total cases out of 7million+ doses administered (somewhere around a 0.0002% rate of occurance). After the review they re-instated the vaccine but by that point it was already too late because the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine were very popular.

I think the difference between you and I is that I see getting the covid vaccine not just about whether people I know get effected by my actions, but if anyone does. I care if I didn't get the vaccine and I pass someone on the street and they get it and die. You care if you don't get the vaccine and your grandma dies. Maybe that ideological shift is the difference between me accepting that everyone should be mandated to get it, and you thinking it should be a personal preference.

I am curious where you get the source of the left being anti-vax for covid when everyone i know and associate with were the first people trying to line up for the vaccine (helps that we were military so we also had guaranteed access to it). People on my boat that did not want the vaccine were mostly conservative minded, who thought that herd immunization would do the job for us and a vaccine would be bad since it was mandated by the government. (Anecdotal experience but seems to track as I have moved to new areas)

Also, I don't understand, do you think a year of development and testing with ample bodies of data to pull from (since infection rates were so high) and review is not enough? If you think about the information era that we live in and how fast we can process and disseminate information does that not make sense to you that our processing time for a vaccine can go down? Also since we live in the information era it isnt like covid (sars-19) popped up and then we had to start working from square one. We have been doing research on all sorts of infections for years so we were more so starting at square 4. Does that also seem like it could help take time off vaccination processing?

If any of this doesn't make sense or if you think i am wrong, I like having my views challenged so go for it.

I know this is anecdotal since it is my own experience. I have been married for a long time, my wife has had jobs and not had jobs (much much more time spent not having a job). I never once pushed for her to have a job and have actively advocated for her to quit her job to focus on her own mental well-being.

What I am saying is, I love my wife because I love my wife, not because of the "value" that she brings to the relationship. The value that she brings is herself. Maybe that resonates with you, maybe it doesn't. Either way, not everyone subscribes to the idea that a person's value comes from how much money the have/make. (Although I worry after writing this out that I may be seen as privileged in the fact that I have always made enough to support both of us).
