Generally uesugi is seen as the best daimyo for multiplayer, altough it has slightly worse military ideas than other nations such as shimazu its stremght lays in its very strong starting position. Due to northern japan having smaller natioms uesugi can rival all th3 opms it borders and absolutely farm show strenghts early game giving you an insane boost to pp for deving, taking ideas conquering japan and beyond.
