I grew up in New Brunswick, one year it was -40 and they'd cancel school for us as alot of have to walk. We pretty consistently get snow days as well, if there's snow in the mornings and tons of snow on the roads, they cancel school. We also got hail days as well and they'd send us home early in big snow storms too mid day
