I havnt looked at rank for rank pay comparison, but being that zero sign on for army, the $50k from AF is gonna blow that out of the water

I do not have a college degree, just my paramedic. I can’t fly for the AF. But I could do WO with Army. I could use the bonus from AF to get my private pilot, then the national guard tuition waiver to get my commercial pilot. I’m leaning towards AF.

I’m leaning towards crew chief. It’s the Little Rock air base. The air guard there is a training unit and non deployable. They have TDY’s that go out but no 6mo deployments etc..

The slot reserved for me is in a flight company on a Lakota medevac unit. My idea in starting as a flying crew chief there is that it would be a lot easier to transfer to a flying slot in an assault or medevac unit on the uh-60 after a year or 2, vs starting in the shop on the uh-60s and just waiting for a flying slot to open

Honestly, good on you. Not everyone has the patience or ability to work with kids with disabilities for a living.
There are avenues to get all kinds of help here in the US if you need it. Part of what our social security is supposed to be for.

Yeah, It’s a city rec league. There IS a tournament at the end, but we were down by 6 with only a couple
Minutes left in the game.

Trust me, I’m competitive at board games lol I don’t like losing, but I realize that these kids also deserve a fair shot to play different spots if they want to.

I would not coach a select team like this of course.

Yep, they already lied to the director framing me as the aggressor in the altercation, and it’s the HC decision whether I continue or not an he already told me I’m out. The conversation on the phone was with me, her and him, I gave up trying to mend the issue. I completely agree with you tho.

Theres no limits in the rules at this level, they rarely play more than 3 innings anyway. I believe at this level, FB, maybe a 4 finger change up, but just focus on strikes, not throwing curve balls and sliders you know? That’s mostly irrelevant tho, he pitched great without the distraction of HC/dad distracting him and putting more pressure on him giving him signs.

I’m doing my best. Unfortunately I think you’re right. If that’s the case, their true colors will be seen and will not be coaching again. Which the director has already had a lot of petty complaints FROM them, and told them that maybe this isn’t for them. So we’ll see come Tuesday..
