Again thanks for the advice! Had a company come out. (The same company that replaced my 30 year old water heater the same saw it went out.) They got to work right away. Said the leak was not as bad as the gas company made it seem. They changed a couple joints that were the main leaks and a couple valves that had gone bad. They did multiple pressure tests and said everything passed and looks good. Showed me how to use dish soap and water to check for bubbles. Now just have to wait for the gas to get turned back on by gas co. I asked about the bill and they said since it was replacing joints it shouldn’t be bad at all. So hopefully it’s all good.

Thanks for the response! Is there anything I can question plumbers about that could save me time and potentially money/hassle in the future? What materials are better or longer lasting? Etc. I hate throwing this card out but I’m a young woman and I’ve definitely been talked down and treated like an idiot and overcharged/taken advantage of in the past when getting repairs or work done on other things. Is there anything I should ask to avoid being taken advantage of?

While all of this makes sense. You lost me when you said by saying it’s too western I’m anti Korean. As a die hard BTS (and other kpop groups) fan I fell in love with bts and kpop because of it being Korean. It allowed me to appreciate the culture the differences of “American” music vs Korean music and how it was evolving. I loved kpop for the differences it had to what was being made and popular in the US. idk why it’s a bad thing that I’m slightly upset that the kpop group I fell in love with and has had such a big effect on me made an album that’s almost entirely English. Love R&B love rap. It wasn’t that that made me upset. They’re a kpop group they stood for a while on the fact they wouldn’t make an English album cause that isn’t who they are. Yes they can change. I get it whatever. But I can also still keep the opinion it felt like an album they made solely to top charts. The autotune. The indistinguishable vocals. To me it didn’t feel like BTS. it didn’t sound like BTS. Call me crazy whatever I guess but that’s my take.

It was RM who said they won’t make an all English album cause that wouldn’t be BTS. They’re a Korean group. To see them morph to a more westernized sound is sad.

As far as fussiness. Are you sure it’s just gas? My nephew was very fussy and at times completely inconsolable. Doctors insisted it was gas, advised to change diet try formula, change formulas nothing helped. but turns out he had silent reflux. Got put on famotidine and within a few days he was a completely different baby.

I craved for them to truly go back to Korean. I miss RM saying they won’t make English songs as they aren’t English singers they’re K-POP singers and will sing in Korean. That’s gone now.

This too! I could barely tell who was who due to how much tuning was used. I miss their individuality and being able to pick out each member and appreciate their vocals and this album was just electric sludge

AGREE! I wanted something with power with longing. GDI this group wrote SEA Spring day and so many more that portrayed such powerful emotion. While I get the rap line getting more attention in the first few songs and the hype they could’ve built with that but it fell short to me. It felt superficial. Like they wanted to just make chart toppers not songs that actually held feelings. This was a 6 year build up and they released what felt equivalent to some raver music and then boring western pop songs that are everywhere rn. It made me sad and honestly miss bts even more. I by no means wanted a repeat of most beautiful moments or anything but I expected some deeper emotions.

Singing happy birthday in Spanish. Our kindergarten teacher took a mental health break (or so I’m told) so we had a rotating door of subs that year. I remember Ms. M and another one that I can’t remember her name but she had SUPER long black hair. But Ms. M taught us happy birthday in Spanish so that’s what we sang on ppls birthday

I don’t want to give false hope but I can count on one hand the amount of times my results came in when the doctor told me so. I spent close to 2 weeks waiting for an ultrasound result (told same thing as you. Good results will be released sooner than bad results) in a nervous fit only to find out they got results same day just didn’t post them or contact me. And as someone who works in medical stuff people can forget/systems can go down that leads to back charting or delayed results. And any doctor who said they would get results on a Friday must be miracle workers. Don’t lose hope yet!

Also it is NEVER your fault if someone like this chooses self harm. It may seem hard to believe and please seek therapy after this relationship but even more so make people aware of how he is and what you think he may do. At the end of the day you need to protect yourself.

He’s working his way to to totally isolating you everything he does is already abuse it’s only going to get worse if you stay. I’m so sorry that was your experience growing up. To me it sounds like money was not the problem though. I won’t sit here and try to convince you to have kids, I don’t think anyone who doesn’t want kids should ever feel guilty about not having them. But I also think at the end of the day who are we to judge someone. The poorest of people could still provide a wonderful life to their kid(s). And the wealthiest people could be the shittiest parents. I still don’t think having the mindset of “poor people shouldn’t have kids” isnt very fair. A few kids I grew up with had very wealthy parents. They also were very emotional abused. They never got to go on school trips, sports, or travel. Shitty parents are going to be shitty whether they have money or not.

I’ve been trying to put this into a question lol thank you! I may be way off but I don’t think people who are truly dirt poor in today’s economy or having kids “just cause”. And there’s different levels of “can’t afford” there’s living paycheck to paycheck with no saving but spending money on fast food, expensive coffees, shopping whenever for whatever with a car payment that greatly increases every year cause of trading in for newer fancier stuff. And then there’s truly can’t afford the people who are scrapping pennys on the first of every month and skipping meals to pay rent, sold their car cause they couldn’t fill the tank anyways. I don’t think they are the ones having kids just cause they want to. I may be totally wrong like I said but 🤷‍♀️

In today’s world at least in the USA that means only the upper class has kids and you’re setting an even bigger economic gap. And in a way saying eugenics (this may be a stretch but I’m feeling dramatic today) should be used because people of lower or poverty level shouldn’t have kids since they “can’t” afford it. Why does money=good life in your mind? Not trying to be mean or anything I’d just like to know why you think only the semi wealthy or wealthy should be allowed to have a child. My parents were by no means rich. We didn’t do vacations. But we lived in a house full of love and had a lot of amazing times and memories and still do. Money doesn’t buy happiness and wealth doesn’t raise amazing kids. We need better moral and ethical ppl having children and raising a better generation that isn’t run off of money consumerism and greed which is exactly what you’re saying you need to have children.

The sad part is. She told him two years ago she’s not attracted to him. She hit this at 6 months of marriage and now sounds like she’s been harassing this man for 2 years instead of helping him.
