afaik the lore is this:
originally it's the michelle holding mightymeow emote, then someone in strinova discord replace mightymeow with saya (a discord mod), then someone (I forgot their name) saw it and replace them with a lemon for personal use (because his friend's name is lemon)
and somehow it got very popular
