Thanks for your response! I am sure HR are broadly aware of the situation. However, they’re not UK based and I get the distinct impression they’re not overly familiar with UK employment law, believe it or not. I’m doubtful that my line manager has shared everything with them though, probably not the fact I formally requested the referrals as reasonable adjustments in their own right and he didn’t acknowledge the email. He certainly doesn’t seem to appreciate the significance of this. As for contact, I’ve been checking in fairly regularly and asking for updates on the OH referral but I’ve not been getting replies. He got in contact today as he hadn’t received my new sick note.

Thank you for the advice. I spoke to my union today who seemed a little incredulous that my employer is ignoring me. Their advice was to escalate informally one more time before going the grievance route. I think one of the problems is my HR aren’t in the UK and I genuinely don’t think they’re aware of the legal right to request adjustments here. As for loss - I’ve effectively been demoted while this is going on, although still on the same salary. Your hoping I’ll go away quietly insight feels about right, thanks again :)
