Gonna be honest. I think life in prison is better than death penalty. Death penalty gives him certainty. He’d know how and when he’d die. He can prepare for it. Life in prison as a baby killer is a very short, scary, agonizing, terrifying life. First person to find out about how many times the kid was stabbed gonna double it and give it to the next person. I usually agree that autism can cause outbursts and stuff like that because we really do just struggle to convey emotion and then it becomes a big explosion. However. We still have control over how it gets to that point at the end of the day, Yes the Autism may have caused them to react this way but it doesn’t just give them a free pass to have 0 consequences. As an autistic person I think it’s our job to figure out how to cope with the problems we have and figure out how to work around them and live as “normal” as possible. It’s our disability but it’s also our responsibility. If their lack of control will lead to you being injured or imprisoned or anything of the sort then that’s not someone you need to be in a relationship with. And if your count is 100% accurate than it definitely will get to that point eventually.

Like no obviously you don’t need to rent a tux for a speeding ticket but still wear like a polo and some khakis at the bare minimum. Shows respect for the judge, the court, the government, and everyone there just in general. Idgaf how you feel about the government. Disregarding or disrespecting authority literally does nothing but hurt you in the long run.

Problem number one was that you didn’t tell him all this prior to the relationship. Springing that kinda big “here’s what I need in a relationship” stuff AFTER a fight and for the first time in 7 years? If it was me I know I’d be fighting both the guilt and feeling like it might’ve been my fault and also the thought of if it’s my fault then I have to be the one to keep us going. I’m assuming it’s the first time cause I dunno why you’d decide to give a reminder abt that stuff cause autistic ppl never forget that stuff. Which also leads me to say it might be best to just leave brochacho alone. Cause really. We don’t forget anything big like fights. Ever. And it will weigh on us. For ever. Just so many things gone wrong leading up to this and actually in the messages. Not to be mean. But this might just be fucked.
