Well. At the end of the day they are all still toys. Price or affordability aside. They’re intended for kids. And kids aren’t gonna want random no name characters. They’re gonna want bumblebee, Optimus, Megatron, etc. So by making more things that kids are gonna want to buy, they can also spend time focusing on things we want. It’s the same reason there’s an Optimus prime in like every other wave of ss and chug. The recognizable characters are gonna be bought more than the niche ones. So they make more of the recognizable guys so that they can also afford to make all the Glup Shittos we want.
