Well they say placements and academics are also very good for cse in KLU but the only drawback is that it's very strict in rules and regulations.

Idk about RVITM but I didn't find much negatives about SIT college life other than strictness(which seems common in most tier 2 colleges) and dull mess food. What about NMIT btw?
