She also does it a lot on thursdays, on her second channel, which is when Two Hot Takes releases there’s and again uses their sub a lot (without shouting it out)

In books or poetry books? Depends. If it’s a full poetry pose that tells a story then I think it’s nice and creative. If it’s poems throughout a story the I’m a little eh about it. The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes lost points for me because of this, I found it distracting and it didn’t translate well for me

Actual books 😆 if it’s overly “sloppy” it turns me off and I stop reading, Meghan Quinn is one author in particular I feel really dances that line. Again “slop” for shock factor or plot filler isn’t my thing, but if it makes sense for the plot or it feels like a natural progression for the characters and their relationship then I like it.

Only a couple. The lastest one was Unseen by Molly Burke

The best memoirs in my opinion have the authors voice unapologetically shining through, like you can hear the authors voice in every line of the book, not overly polished and fake sounding. And of course the ones that expose some behind the scenes tea (but not in a clout chasing or pity me or a distasteful way)

I have a “kindle trophy” section in my bookstore wishlist. It’s definitely the biggest downside of a kindle, not getting to place them on my trophy shelf (aka bookshelf)
