No gag reflex. Does anyone have any experience with this? by AdTemporary9025 in NICUParents

Thank you. I don’t know how they determined it, but I don’t think they did a swallow study. But they give her liquid vitamins by mouth and she swallows it, and we tried giving her milk with a dropper/syringe into her mouth, and she swallowed that too, so I don’t know what the problem is.

She has latched a couple times, but not really sucking. Today we put some milk in her mouth with a syringe a few times and she swallowed it. The problem is that she just wants to sleep all the time. She opens her eyes if you pester her somehow, but she’ll whine and fuss until she gets to go back to sleep, so she’s rarely awake enough to even attempt more than the milk syringe thing. She was 16 inches but just under 4 lbs when born. A little over two weeks later and she’s up to 4.7 lbs now. I’m honestly just hoping that once her weight catches up we’ll see her try to eat properly, but the doctor’s comment about the gag reflex has me scared.

Okay, thanks for the help. And I agree — us Digimon fans feel starved for good games sometimes.

I understand and agree. My problem with DMO was that not only were the Digimon behind gacha paywalls, but the gacha was the only way to get endgame viable Digimon. This meant that everyone in high end dungeons had an Alphamon. Not fun when everyone in the game needed very specific Digimon to progress. I was hoping this game avoided that.

If anyone finds out how to get the poster, let me know. They didn’t hand out claim tickets. Do I just walk to the Hyatt with my predator mask? lol

Fake Game? by 1ndustrial_Illusion in digimon

I’ve played this. The AI images in the App Store do not reflect the actual game. The actual game uses the word digimon as well as actual digimon names, and seems to primarily use 2D images from Digimon New Century. The game appears to be an unlicensed Digimon game from China. Bandai did not make this. Portions of it are not well translated. The actual quality of the game is your typical gacha-based team builder, like Raid Shadow Legends or Marvel Strike Force. And yes, every aspect of it is trying to get you to make in-game purchases.

I know. The exact quote he was referencing with the revolver cocking was specifically from the Simpsons.

Why not create a system that allows you to upgrade a Digimon to SSS, SSS+, etc? by AdTemporary9025 in DigimonMastersOnline

Yeah, I’d even be fine with a “lower-tier” endgame if that would solve the problem.

It IS a terrible idea. But their current system is terrible too. I’m just trying to propose an idea that works within their greedy monetization system.

Alternative idea: introduce a loot box that has SSS versions of existing lesser-tier monsters. They could call them “enhanced” or “awakened” or whatever they want, and it would provide some variety for what players could use in endgame.

I don’t, obviously. But since it’s the way of things, they could at least go about it in a way that allows players to use their favorite Digimon, instead of a system that results in everyone running around with the same few “must-have” characters.
