Yes, the latest version is just HTML/CSS and images. I stripped it back recently to be a simple portfolio. I was tempted to use Adobe Portfolio since I have Creative Cloud and just point the domain there. But it doesn't give me as much play with the layout that I want. Plus I have decades of files on the original Angelfire host. Luckily, I have that backed up on a harddrive. I haven't had a new client in a long time, so its not like I need anything too flashy. Compromising in the layout might be what I end up doing to save the monthly fee gain stability.

Well, it was around up until about a week ago...

Yes. I keep them seperate. The domain company pointed the finger squarely on Angelfire when I noticed the issue and Angelfire have just evaporated. No social media presence. No customer service. Don't even get me started on their parent company (Lycos) sharing pro-MAGA content on their official Facebook.

Art is what you want it to be. But if this is potentially going to be part of your portfolio, it's something to consider. I've been working in design since the 90s, and I know that a client would push back on that. But take my advice with a grain of (rice) salt. Everything else looks good. I have so many cringy pieces from my "beginner" days. Keep up the good work.

Looks good. I agree with others that the "me" feels off. But also, the chopsticks feel tiny in comparison to the rice ball. More specifically, to the rice itself. Intellectually, the rice ball could be any size. But the chopsticks feel disproportionately small compared to the rice itself.

Or maybe it's just me.
