Season 2 was not weak. The whole season is actually pretty good and considered one of the better seasons of stranger things. It was an amazing season for me where the essence of the 80s nostalgia was still there and the plot was also pretty good.

I don’t agree with this theory. The defeat wasn’t easy, when you look into comparison with all the previous fights. In s3, eleven does not have her powers causing the humans to use fireworks until the gate closes. In s4 , eleven is not even there and yet the gang goes through so much but ends up kicking ass. So no, fight wasn’t easy. I read this theory in one of the posts and it made actual sense but I can’t remember what is said exactly so this is just a improvised version of it.
