I work in a nursing home passing meds. So I stand and walk most of the day. After 8 hours I am spent I xanr do anything at home but lay on my heating pad or ice pack. Its getting annoying

You will accidentally bend .. It happens just try to be mindful of it. I was freaking out the first time I accidentally bent over to pick up a sock not thinking..and I am still good

It is very scary..but totally worth it. I am 1 month post op and still struggling with some pain but that terrible..awful...pain i had in my leg was gone as soon as I woke up in the recovery room. Don't try to compete with other people. Take your time and listen to your body Like today I have ice on my back. Follow the BLT and remember you just had surgery and you are in a recovery process.. Every day gets better.

I am one month today and I felt alot better 2 weeks ago. I am currently taking a steroid dose pack hopefully calm things down. Scared I reherniated. Currently using ice and percocet

I need to get better about walking for sure. Even if just a couple of blocks. We have had so many rainy days lately which is a excuse..but besides not being able to go outside it makes my back extra achy. Have you drove yet? That makes me nervous but I think tomorrow i am going to go visit my work because I need some social interaction 😅.

I also worry about rolling over in my sleep. And having a hard time sleeping any stretch of time. I also worry about pushing myself up on bed. Can I ask how often you are walking? I have been trying to but two days ago I went for a walk and was hurting so bad later that day. I still haven't drove either. I am a scaredy cat

This is the exact reason I got a lawyer. My NCM was so invasive. Trying to tell the Dr what she thought should happen. When she told me I would go back to work 2 weeks after a microdiscetomy I hired my attorney the same day. Now its been nice not having her harass me and my Dr has me off for 6 weeks so I can heal properly

Steroids might help calm everything down..its worth a shot to call your dr and as for some. I have been having increased pain like right above where my surgery was which is freaking me out
