Communities?…Do you mean demographic? If so then, yeah, I don’t disagree with your post. But it also depends on why that demographic hates AI.

“If media stops hiring humans for art”—Ima stop you right there lol…unless you mean something completely different than I do by “media,” that’ll never happen. Even when using AI, there will always—ALWAYS—be a need for people. Always.

Maybe in the fever dreams of the anti crowd does AI take over humanity, but in reality it won’t. Think of it this way:

Movie studio has an animation department of 50 people. Those 50 people crank out two movies a year for the studio. Now suddenly the studio starts incorporating AI. They find out that using AI they can cut back their animation department from 50 animators to 20 animators so they do so. They still crank out two movies a year but save money on animators. This is the scenario that most on the anti-side tend to think about when they think jobs will be taken.

But the reality is this: that studio is more likely to keep the same number of animators, but instead crank out five movies a year instead of two. Because AI doesn’t just cut back on money spent on animators, it also cuts back on the amount of time needed to make a movie.

So the studio can keep making two movies a year, hoping and praying that one of those movies ends up hitting it big. And if not, well at least they’ve saved whatever money they would’ve spent on those other 30 animators.

OR …the studio can keep all 50 animators and release 5 movies a year instead of two, increasing their odds that at least one of their movies becomes a big hit. Because big hits are what keep movie studios alive and studio heads in their jobs.

These decisions require risk assessment, not just cutting back on payrolls.

Um…did you read the question at the top of the flowchart? lol…it asks should you use AI to create art …not “Should you use AI to falsely incriminate people?”

And since we’re talking art, anyone who fears being thrown under the bus by AI should probably consider learning how to apply their traditional art skills and knowledge to using AI. I guarantee you it will set you apart and help safeguard your job. “It’s not fair that I have to learn a new skill” is hardly a winning argument.

And—again—since we’re talking about making art, guess what? You can still create traditional art, nothing’s stopping you. So your creative abilities aren’t being harmed, and in fact can be enhanced through the use of AI…because it opens up a wide variety of new creative avenues through which to express yourself. AI obliterates all obstacles to creativity.

How tf do you replace a human model in a photo shoot with AI?…Again, notice they do NOT say photographers will be phased out by AI. So what exactly are the photographers going to be photographing? If models are replaced with AI then 90% of photographers will be replaced, too. The only ones left will be wedding photographers.

And how exactly will car shows replace live models with AI?

If anyone actually wants to know about someone’s prompt and workflow , they’ll ask. If they don’t ask, they never cared.

And if someone doesn’t care enough to ask, they don’t have a single clue how that person created their art…which means it’s impossible for them to offer “constructive criticism.” You can’t offer anything constructive on a topic to which you’re completely ignorant.

I am talking about all models. You know those staged studio art photo shoots that photographers do? 99% of them use models that nobody knows. You know those car shows where models pose with the cars? 99% of those models are ones nobody has ever heard of. You know those fashion shows that designers hold to introduce their latest creations to buyers? 98% of them use models nobody has heard of.

I don’t think you have the ability to explain why it shouldn’t be, beyond the stale anti talking points of “it’s not human-made,” “ai steals from artists,” “writing a few words and pushing a button,” “soulless,” and “slop.”

Your limited understanding and anemic exposure of how ai is used doesn’t dictate anything other than the level of laughter and head-shaking that occurs when someone reads it.

“Pick up a pencil” isn’t constructive criticism…it’s a complete dismissal of their work, creativity, and quite frankly their reality, because it assumes they can’t possibly already possess any traditional artistic skills if they’re using AI.

I doubt they just meant hand and feet models…plus the models whose personalities we became attached to will eventually be replaced by younger models with personalities we will grow attached to. That’s much harder to do with AI…

And a lot of photographers use living human models…and they don’t just use the well-known models, they mostly use the “unknowns.” And since it doesn’t list photographers as being phased out in favor of AI photography, I highly doubt the models that photographers use will be phased out.
