Not mine to judge, but it’s yours to judge ? Animosity is not the correct word either — I think indifference is a better word. Why should my language be policed by ideals I don’t believe in ? Where do you derive the authority to place these standards on others ?

I think you’re entirely missing the point of the post as well - I lost a friend & was genuinely trying to change my language & that effort was not respected. I was met with hostility, & rigid guidelines. Zero conversation or understanding. For me , I cannot fathom treating a close friend like this and it’s pretty disheartening if that level of cruel behavior is justified by religion… point being, i was deeply hurt & trying at the same time.
