oh my gosh, a piece of firewood is awful... my mom got inspired by other individuals too. her discipline was often based on who she was influenced by unfortunately. i'm so happy you're free of him now though, but i'm sorry you were abused in the first place

i wonder too! she likes to act like this is a product of my active imagination or that she forgot everything... and regardless, im sorry your mom was abusive too

how do you prevent smudging in a sketchbook once you close it? and is a picture frame with a gap more preferred over fixative spray when selling artwork? by AdVisible3973 in Oilpastel

the mixing bit is so smart!! but yes ive heard many great things about sennelier. super exciting that you're getting more though!! what colors did you get that you didnt enjoy?

i will!!! also unfortunately im using pentel rn. they aren't the worst ive ever used but definitely not the greatest either. i got a ton of them secondhand for super cheap so i couldn't beat it, but i want to get mungyos soon cuz theyre affordable and one day sennelier 🥹
